150s VS. 200s

You're in the same boat as me. I decided to go with the 5s and a 62/71/14 and don't regret it at all. I haven't been on a dyno yet but I think i'm probably in the neighborhood of 500ish. On SO trucks this combo would probably run too hot but it stays nice and cool on my truck. Hottest egt i've seen is 1500 deg. with boost @ 48psi., and I have to stay in it awhile to get it that warm.

As a reference, on my brother's HO he has Mach 4s and a 62/65/12 and made 486 hp.

Just you wait... I'm on my way:ft::Cheer:

well, an SO pump is definately in my future whenever my HO goes out knock on wood. So if I were to just got the mach 4s and 62/71/13ss i think that i be around 475-485 with the HO and whenever i slap an SO on there that would put me up over 500 hp.

If I were to go the other route and use 200s and a 64 that would put me over 500 with the HO for sure, but whenever i slap an SO pump on there, that would be more HP than i am wanting for a DD truck. I know it is possible to DD with 550-575 horses but i just want my truck to stay a little more reliable and long lasting. I may be looking at this all wrond too....im still learning

I am in the same boat as you with my HO but I am just not sure what to go with once I get a new turbo most likely a 64 but I would like to be around 600with a new pump and just curious if some 200 ddp's would get me there
