got a shot of your steering box and pitman arm?
i had to add a front sway bar to mine because the steering geometry is not ideal. as the torque twists the frame, the axle would stay horizontal with the road causing the pitman arm to essentially "pull back" and cause some scary issues if i lock the converter under too much boost.
i did cantilever shocks in the front the way you did in the rear, added the sway bar, took out some caster, and minimized my toe in to solve the issue.
bias-ply fronts are also not helping =)
ive since learned there is a reason that AA/FA fuel altereds stay away from the suicide style single leaf front end and use 4 link with coils.

mine weighs in at 3100lbs. id say with a full cage, yours will probably be in the same ball park.

also, i would rethink your rear wheel/tire choice. they are not wide enough!!!! hahahaha!

I've got 33/10.5/16 wrinkles as well , your ratty looks good for sure . I'll get front pics posted for you tomorrow

ya, looks like youll be alright for bump steer and 'torque steer'.
i prefer hair pin bars over wishbones though so you can have some adjustment to caster.
what caster angle did you go with?

It ended up being around 5*. I'll get you a better pic of the steering when I get to the shop
