Here are some pics of my car I have been working on for a few months now. It isn't running yet but hopefully in a few weeks it will be. I started a thread in the diesel conversion area but I figuired I would throw it in here since drag racing is what I want to do most with it.

The car itself is a 68 Corvette. It will have a one piece tilt front end and has a 4" cowl hood on it. The rear suspension is coil over shock and 4 link set up. It has Hoosier Quick Time dot drag slicks on it that are 31x18.5x15. It has a narrowed 9" in it with Moser axles on the way. I am going to start off with 3.50 gears and see how it works out. Right now it will have a spool and will probabaly stay that way. The engine is a 98 12v with a 180hp injection pump. Later on I want to build my 215 pump but I will have to wait for the wallet to recooperate a little. LOL The tranny is a non lock up overdrive from a 92 1 ton dodge. It is stock other than a RV torque convertor and has been rebuilt. I am going to run it until it blows while I am looking for a 47rh core. I just built the air box for the air filter today and it will have a blower scoop on top of it that will protrude through the hood like a blower motor gasser. LOL Both side pipes will be functional soon, hopefully. I have lots of work to do, but atleast it looks like it could be a car again. LOL

I agree, the vette is a very cool project!
I can tell you from personal exp. try to make everything behind that 12v bulletproof. I hope that tranny will live a long life for ya. Good Luck. Keep us posted. Ryan
