1972 ford f350 crew cab 2wd to 4wd

Well here she is i bought this truck last spring off ncovey. My plans are to turn it into a fwd and put a cummins in it since i have one laying in my shop collecting dust.

Heres pics of the dana 60 i fully rebuilt and the rearend i removed all these brackets and put a set of procomp 4inch superduty springs on it.

Heres pics of the rear springs on the truck and a press brake i fabed up to bend the front spring holders. And the dana 60 getting ready to be put under the front of the truck.

Heres the bus as i call it. I did alittle body work on it. I figured alittle here alittle there.

i did a rear disk conv on this truck. when i get eveerything in its place i am going to blow the truck apart and finish weld everything and paint it. so i will try and post more pics as i go.

Ok guy i got some time the last couple of days and got to work on the old 12v. i bottom tapped all the holes and cut o rings in the block then i dissasembled the whole engine. I got this engine for almost free i wont say what i payed i might get shot lol. But anyways it had coolant in the pan so the bearing were all shot but no scaring to the crank. The culprit of the leak was a bad head gasket. Now off to the machine shop for new wrist pin bushings.

Its been awhile since i posted. I got the whole short block finished new bearings top to bottom and gaskets. I started to port the head. i am starting with gasket matching the runners then onto the bowls. My hopes are to get the entire drivetrain rebuilt and finished by the beginning of summer for the test fit in the frame.
