Truck popped a head gasket or two on the way in to work last week. It will start and idle but pours white (sweet-smelling) smoke. No mixing of oil and water and after sitting for a couple of days it puked a lot of coolant from somewhere.
Truck's engine is original and possibly could be fixed. I would probably just drop in a Ted's engine or a Cummins and keep driving for another 200K miles. I don't have the time or space to mess with it.
Truck has many good parts on it and I may part it out but would like to sell it as it sits complete.
I have a high price on the CL ad to keep the bums away, but someone make a real offer on it.

Water pump
Lift Pump (Walbro plumbed with -6an SS line from tank to IP)
Wheels/Tires
Lift Kit
Front/Rear Ranch hand bumpers
Grill/Headlights
Tow Mirrors
Window tint
Trailer Brake Controller (Maxbrake)
I hate to sell it. I was planning a Cummins swap into this truck but now I just need one that runs. (edit: just bought a newish Ferd) I have a clear Texas title in my name ready to transfer. Tags are good till August.
