Hey guys got my 96 out to drive in the nice weather last night, went cruising when I pulled into to stop at the car wash I noticed a hot smell, kinda like hot electronics, looked around didn't see anything outa line went home drove it to work this morning an I work 2 miles from my house so engine didn't get warm at all the alternator was very hot and smelled spins freely though charging gauge says around 12 volts am I lookin at pcm or alternator gona put a spary on I have on after work and see what happens was just lookin fpr some insight. New batteries as well
