Need a pcm for a 1996 Cummins with a auto trans

Watch the build dates. The early pcm's don't like lockup switches without the right software.

I sold my truck a while back. From what I remember, it was the 96 models manufactured in 96 that were affected. Mine was a Sept '96

I screwed that up completely. It was early 96 models, built in 95 that had the funky software. Wasn't awake enough to be posting earlier lol

Yes 94/95 one big plug. Black plastic pcm. 97-98 12v 3 plugs and is aluminum housing.
 
I bought a used one and it correct all my issues .
