i have to sell sell this truck im way in over my head on it and i have to get rid of it i will sell it for $7500 with the 160 pump the pump is maxed out and put my other truck in the 12's on street tires

Stay away from this deal guys. Here's my story.

Looked at pictures and talked to Chris Huggins, the owner of this truck, several different times. Myself and infamous conrad Bobby (darkside Bobby) had some interest in it. I wanted the truck but couldn't go look at it for 3 weeks since its 6 hours away. Bobby got a different idea of the truck than I did, his version stated that the trans was in such bad shape that it would barely go down the road. My version, as I was told, was that its plenty driveable. I noticed this misleading fact after my mistake.

Im an honest guy, and for the most part, find other diesel heads fairly honest. Chris and I agreed that he would hold the truck for $500. We also agreed that in the event I did not purchase the truck, he would refund me $250, half of the deposit, as compensation for time lost while he was holding it for me. I'm too nice, I know. My jeep and dune buggy projects came to priority for summer months so I called Chris and told him I was not buying the truck, but Bobby would call him after he returned from traveling. (another week) Chris agreed to refund my $250. This was months ago, January actually. Bobby also decided he was not interested as he found something else.

After being patient waiting for $250, it never came. Chris would not return phone calls or PM's. I called from a different number one day and Chris answers. He argues that our deal was invalid since I never actually drove to Texarkana to look at the truck. In the end of this conversation, Chris agrees to refund $250 when he got paid on March 14. Patiently waiting again, I received no refund. I PMed Chris at the end of last week (March 20 or 21) and received this reply on March 22.

look you made the thing about 250 back...I had four serious people lookin at it called several times to check and see if you were going to buy it and i said YES he has told me he is still coming...you should have told me...i wouldnt have known about it unless i finally called bobby because you werent answering the phone...i am not going to pay you back if i hadn just held it till that weekend i wouldnt have a problem with giving you your money back but i held it for nearly a month and was put off and put off so i dont have intentions of paying the deposit back

If this truck had 4 serious buyers, it would have sold since mid February. If the truck truly went to PINKS All Out in San Antonio and didn't sell, there's something fishy going on here. Yall can read about the one guy, BCSCummins, that did go look at the truck first hand and his comments on this truck.

I understand I made the mistake of trusting too much, I want no sympathy for my mistake.

However, I do want CompD users to know whats really going on here.

If someone can buy this thing for dirt cheap, do so. It's obviously not worth $7500 though.
 
ok your right we made the agreement on 500 deposit and 250 if there was somthing wrong on my end of the deal there wasnt and no phil didnt call me to let me know he wasnt coming after calling you 4 times the friday before you were suppose to come get it you never answered...so i called bobby 3 times before he answered and he said O did phil not call you and tell you hes not coming to get it...not only did you jerk me around bobby did aswell but thats a different story...i would have refunded if you came when you sauid and it was my deal...i held up to my end of the deal it is your fault you didnt get your money back..when you a put deposit down you should hold up your end of the bargain...i havent gone to pinks i wasnt suppose to go to pinks in san antonio im going to pinks all out in gilliam, louisiana march 28-29 it is 45 miles away not 13 hours...the truck looks great pics will be up soon...i am saying again as i have told everbody so i dont know why phil was different the tranny is gone it will go 55mph and that was firmly stated you asked me if you could drive it home i said NO it needs to be trailered everybody knows that...so if anybody has any questions feel more than free to call me (903)701-3154....and no your not an honest guy....
