some 98 12v have rear doors some dont.

You could get either in 98 and 99...club cab or quad cab. 00 offered quad cab only...

Yeah in 98 they made the quad cab with the doors that open for only 3 months. Very rare to find one with the doors that open.

Yep from what I have heard they made the 98 12v with quads for just 3 months.
