2.6 charger dodge

sorry, i was thinking 2.5 which a 64mm usually won't pass tech for 2.5 so 62 was the next size down.

2.6 is right at 66mm and depending who made the plug and who measures, a 66 can just make it in a 2.6 class (they measured mine at 2.63" with a caliper and the rules clearly stated that the inlet must be smaller than 2.65"

so yes a 66mm would be a better choice.

The truck is a 2.6 we really have no tech yet because of the small pulling world in florida. So i think the freight train was a 2.6 theres a 2.8 truck in are class i even think there a 3.0 truck. We dont have enough trucks to break it all down

You had me thinking my numbers were messed up. They say the Silver 66 actually measures a bit to big?

After talking to the guy he said the hell with it and he order up the p pump kit along with studs for the heads and mains. a Cam Rods pistions and tappets. Looks like i got a little work ahead of me

Wow.... Um have you priced a Sigma Pump? From asking about a 66 turbo. You guys sure jumped right into the big stuff. Dont know you but if you were wondering how to build up a good 66 truck, the truck your speaking of is going to be a hell of alot worse. But good luck to ya!

The kids are just some rich kids with to much danm money. They seen what a segma pump truck done they want there to do it. Im just the builder i can tell them what to do. Now if they let me build it how i wanna there would be no pump on it right now.

What turbo should we run for a segma pump?? Im thinking a Big brother or bigger

wow...needs advice on how to build a 500hp vp44 truck now building a whole new motor with a sigma pump.

do you have any idea what a sigma pump is?

do you know how to build the bottom end of a cummins to handle that kind of power?

now don't take my post the wrong way but trust me its alot more than you may think...if these kids have the money you say...your best choice is to call scheids and tell them you want a complete motor with pump/turbo combination and then you can drop it in the truck.

its alot more than bolting on a pump and turbo and thinking its gonna run.

Ohhh!!! Ohhh!!! Can I guess:hehe:

Do they know what they want? They might be better served if you could get them to give you a goal and then letting you build that instead of them just naming parts that they think they want.

Um wow.

Sounds like they will end up with a truck that will still get beat by a strong VP. These guys need to get a game plan, because it sounds like they are just throwing expensive parts at it. The recipe they started with was a very poor one for winning, but the route they are about to take will likely be worse. Better tell them to shell out $50k if they want to build a sigma pump truck and that will give you a good start.

x2 I dont no at first they tell me 600 hp i said that do able. I try telling him power aint everything also. He needs a better set up but he thinks the big power will pull it out the ring

What he said. And I dont know about building a motor with a sigma pump. But im going to guess that a big brother turbo will be the size of your small turbo haha. Basically you need to start from scratch. Call Scheids like someone said earlier. Have them build the motor and probably not just going to drop right in either. I think you guys are in a little to deep. That pumps going to cost as much as their whole truck is worth. But hey if you can get the business thats awesome. But i wouldnt want to take part in the build. Cause when it runs bad its going to fall back on you. And its a good chance it will if you have never built anything of the sort. I think a 13mm pump would be plenty and a good start if you ask me but like i said. Keep us posted.:hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe:

Wow! you sure do get into some interesting things Kurt. Following your threads is amusing. Good luck to ya. :D

FWIW, ain't no way they need to be getting a sigma pump. There isn't more than a dozen or so pulling trucks in the country setup to run one of those. If they are hung up on p-pumping it, that's fine but ain't no way they need a Sigma. I'd really be pushing them to, AT THE MOST, get a nice 13mm pump. And most likely only need a stout p-pump.

Honestly, are they just looking for that awesome sounding, lopey spool up that you see (I'm talking about like what Brad Ingram's truck sounded like when he spooled up at the line) some of these impressive Dodges doing? If so, they don't need a Sigma to do that.

And you are certainly right about them needing to address their setup because if they go through with this and end up with a Sigma-pumped engine that runs right, they'll have the driveline torn out of that thing very quickly as stock stuff just isn't up to that task.

kurt tech question...

how flat does the deck got to be to ensure probper sealing of o-rings/fire rings?? on a I-6

i know..

Like i said a 13mm is plenty. If your wanting the nasty loap all you have to do is get an ag gov on that thing and wha la!

LOL ya your telling me. Segma pump will be going on it.
along with a whole rebuilt motor and twins

Smegma pump?

:hehe: Friggin buy a clue man...

wow,,, interesting.

If the have the money for a Sigma they dont need to worry about a street truck. 9800 for the pump alone, tubros your looking another 8000.
