2.6 cr engine build

this winter i plan on building an engine. I like to stay in the 2.6 class for pullin but the only question i have is should i put in a gridle and 12mm mains studs? im just wondering if its necessary bc i produce only 55 psi and the truck only runs at 4500 rpm going down the track.
