2003 issue

The truck when started will idle fine then it will fall off to like 400 500 rpm according to tach and will go back to normal real quick may do this two or three times. It also stumbles when go to accelerate every now and then but seems better longer you drive. Also if keep light peddle input then when go to accelerate it seems not to stumble. There is no codes shown trucks has 225000+ miles on it. Does this sound like lift pump it is stock and has never been replaced to my knowledge oh and it is a stock truck.

Could be, Check fuel pressure pre cp3. If it were me I'd just go ahead and put a aftermarket pump on it. is the pump in the tank or on the block?

changed the fuel filter lately?

Yep changed filter every 10000 miles must have been something sticking in fuel system gave it a healthy dose of standyne fuel treatment and not been doing back to normal
