So this is my 3rd diesel and 2nd Fummins. This I'll be sticking with because
a.) I have no choice.
b.) I need to stick with one truck and quit jumping around.
So, on to the truck at hand. This is a 2006 CCLB XLT F250, least that's what it started life as. It had a VERY poorly done front end swap on it, which will be reverted back to a 6.0 front end, practically every single body panel will end up being new on this truck. The interior isn't in bad shape per say, it's just done in bad taste in my opinion. I would like to put ta King Ranch interior into but who knows what I'll find.
Anyways, the truck has a 6.7 Cummins in it that was completely stripped down and has been blueprinted, decked, head surface, ARP 625's, cryo-treated rods and pistons (Lord only knows what those will hold up to....), Diesel Pro stage 2 cam, industrial injection 100 horse injectors and valve springs, trend pushrods, head has been ported, 66mm Silver Bullet, FASS 150..... I'm sure theres some other crap that I'm forgetting but whatever...
Behind that 6.7 Cummins is a 48RE that was supposed to have a few more things in it than it actually did but I'm not going to ***** because it's built now and not going to fudge up... The trans has an ATS 5-star converter, Suncoast full manual v/b, billet input, billet drums, ALTO power pack (clutches and steels), billet servos, yadda yadda yadda... will hold more than what I plan on putting down for now.
On to the pictures....
Within 24 hours of ownership I had the trans out and ready for some goodies, you can see the billet flexplate there.
The "after market" clutches that were in it
Bet your shopping cart aint never looked like this!!!!
Here's some shots of the truck.. enjoy the horrendousness of the body
All this bed needed was some paint..... yeah ok....
Nice dent in the cab corner and the rocker...
On to the really bad part of this whole ordeal.... the front end....
A little smashed up in this corner which I'm sure is why the 08 clip was "welded" on
The spacers holding the fenders on, which dont line up btw..
The good part
D-boy fresh hood hinges, which if you cant tell are welded to the inner fender...
Some of the interior (Note the sweet ass R/T seats... Leave it to Chrylser to be responsible for the only squeaky thing on the truck...)
And last but not least the front bench bolted in the back.... Along with the new 6.0 Harley headlights.
The body shop should be done with all my 6.0 front end parts tomorrow, hopefully they'll be installed by this weekend!!!!
