Was it 1000 ? I thought they were going to beat your # on fuel alone . . .

You ran 1045 :bow: so im assuming they would pull at least 1100 hp. :umno:

Maybe they can make over 800 with a little :nos:
 
You know no one can take away how clean and nice a truck that Wayunderteched had. But you dont talk massive smack to everyone about how its gonna dupplicate what Lloyd did but on fuel only. If they would have kept there mouth shut they would have been further ahead, and I may add could have gotten some support from the wealth of common rail knowledge that was present at the show.

In the end as they are loading it up I spoke with them (or tryed to) about how nice there truck was, the only response I got was when I asked how much power it made and was told "900-1200 depending. But it does much better on the pullin track since a dyno is a different animal"
 
Everything from the dyno was wrong, to they didn't have enough load to spool the big single, to they just didn't know. I think the 2 best comments afterwards was :

1) this thing made enough power at our shop that it broke the dyno there

and then


2) not sure what happened today, all I know is it made that much power before we threw a bunch of these parts at it........(hmmmm I will leave that alone)

worst part is that it seems to spool well in the video...

so where does this thing pull, ive never seen nor heard of it

Turn up the volume, it sounds like it just quits spooling after he gives it the pedal.
 
any idea whats on the truck? Programmer, turbo, injectors, cam etc??

Hey Lmills. If they were that low on hp.. Just imagine where you'd be at! :evil

i dont need to turn up the volume, the truck comes up on rpms and clears the smoke up just fine and the turbo spools, the microphone on the camera has some issues with sound that puts a funny whistle in there.

how can a turbo just "quit spooling"

yes it is interference with the microphone, when have you ever heard a turbo that sounds like a f*cking Kazoo that whistles like that? must be spinning backwards i guess since it "spools down" when you give it fuel but spools back up when you let off... :doh:
 
Without being there to here it first hand it is hard to judge. Me personally, I say it spooled just fine.

That kazoo sound you are describing was something else. Never looked to see what it was, but it made that sound at the event also.

note; after viewing the video again, that sound you are hearing that goes away and comes back definitely is not the turbo.
 
The Wyotech truck? I know something about it. HOWEVER!!, I didn't know they wanted to best the Ninja.
And whats on it?
I'll tell you this, the only thing Banks on that truck are the decals.
