24v complete head with springs, rockers, valve cover. $450

24v shortblock, not sure on miles, came out of a wrecked truck. $600

Will ship at buyers expense. Zip is 78417.
 
I just pulled the head, everything looks real good. It still has all of the cross hatching, no broken rings, pistons look good from the top, and no scratches on the walls. I am going to pull the cam to replace the front timing cover(this one is cracked) so I will get a look at the cam, and the pan has a dent, so I am going to take a look at the rods and mains while I am in there. I will take pics for anyone who is interested.

It is a NON 53 BLOCK as well.

Any idea what it would cost to ship the motor to MO 63385?
If you were only a few hours away id come get it this weekend but I cant take two days off work to drive to texas...
 
I have shipped motors from here in south TX to Maine for under $200, so it should be somewhere around that.
 
Did ya ever check out the condition of the bottom end, as in, checking the bearings and wear on the crank?
Also, do you have any extra valve covers for 24v laying around?
 
I haven't looked yet, but if I can get someone seriously interested, I will take some pics of the be.


I will take trades for this longblock. Turbos, fuel parts, ect. I am looking for a big primary right now. 80+mm.
