Yes it is well covered for 3rd gen brakes on a 2nd gen. However the wheel and tire selection in the drag radials and slicks, are far better in the 16" variety.

I am sure a few of you have done it. Any insight?

I have "heard" you need to swap the whole 2nd gen knuckle on the front end?

It is an easy thing to do. The 02 brake calipers and brackets rotors will bolt right up just need to notch the brackets a little on the front. I machined my rear calipers down and I had to cut so much off that it made me nervous to do it on the front. Some one had told me that the 02 brakes would work so I decided to try it. It doesn't have the stopping power of the 17" but it gets the job done.

Thanks, not sure what I will try for the rear yet, as I am not sure I want to take the angle grinder to them if I have to go that far.

I have heard that the brake line fitting is different from the 03+ caliper, to the 02 and down one. Do you recall?

I had to get a different banjo bolts for the 2nd gen calipers. If I had it to do over I would put the 2nd gen stuff on the back too.
