Sorry guys, I know i'm in the wrong forum but I got my short bed off my c1500 by myself. No straps. No forklifts. Nothin. I simply took a 2 x 4 and clamped it to the bottom of the box so I could slide it over the tires. Not to difficult! Took 15 minutes (after I got the bolts out, rust BLOWS!) and I did it in the parking lot of my apartment complex!!!!!*bdh*
 
Anyone considered Art Morrison 4-link kit with chromoly rod ends? little pricey but from what I gather he's well known?
 
hey 9 lives, your sig say you have a single cab short bed, have any pictures? im doing the same thing right now. and did u just cut down the stock frame rails or what?
 
Not finished just yet...its going in for a custom paint job just as soon as it warms up a bit outside.
