I'm biased, but I'd stick with the cummins. Easiest way would be to get the frame & engine mounts from a dodge.

You should go ahead and shorten the frame and install a shortbed while you're at it.. It would have a cool sound to it.. "It's a DT466 standard cab short bed superduty"

I love Internationals. Between my dad and I, we had eight of them at one time. My favorites were the the truck he had like SCOOTERS and I had a 1964 4X4 Travelall with a 5-speed. We would get them for almost free and then fix them up. They were very good trucks except for the electrical systems. There always seemed to be a bug somewhere in one of them.
