I saw a thread that the drag racers want to run half track to save parts, you guys want to follow suit?

the first half or second half Gene.....or how about the middle half and we dont run the first or last quarter of the track.........

now are they going to do a rolling start and only run the end cause launching is harder on the vehicle than running flat out at the top end.....

I'm for it. Then I won't lose as bad when I don't get the sled moving.:hehe:

Untill pullers can produce the heat from the suns surface in there combustion chamber it would not be necassary to do so.... LOL

Also I think they have tryed this at a pull TJ participated in last week. The pull had mixed feelings from competitors.

They probably would be happy to pull any distance if you would just get those poverty stricken payouts up:hehe: Let me guess you are going to comeback and say "Why don't you try and put on 30 events a year?" Quit sucking up all of the profits and get these guys paid.

dont shorten the track, just limit the sleds weight box to only travel halfway up...then we can go faster with less weight and just let off at 300' we can go elimination rounds...last truck standing that doesnt break wins.

LMFAO!
I tell you guys what, I'll make you a deal, door one or door two.
Behind door one is what we paid out in purses last year.
Behind door two is NADM profits for last year.

Take a vote amongst your selves, and decide which door you want this year, for your purses?

Or door three, what Dennis has in paint jobs on his trucks. :hehe:

hey just lighten the weight of the sled, rolling start, and don't drop the pan at the end and no one should break parts pulling this year.

oh wait i'm not a sled puller so my thought on the matter doesn't count.

That's messed up asking for 1/2 track!! :bang I pull and drag race and I've never asked for a simpaty pull!! You break, you break, better luck next time!! :hehe:

I see where they are coming from tho... When a pulling truck breaks it doesn't take an hour to clean up the oil off the track.
