Right now I have 370 Marine Injectors, great power, crappy efficiency. The exhaust hazes at idle and I know these injectors spray pattern is 5 degrees off from stock injectors.
I was looking at DDP Stage 3 injectors Would these be a good equivilent or would i want to go bigger to match the power the 370 put out.

1997 Dodge 2500 12valve cummins 4x4
NV4500hd trans
AFE stage 2 intake 7 layer filter
MBRP 4" exhaust
ATS 3 piece exhaust manifold
VP44 Injection pump
370 Marine Imjectors

I pull a 28' 5th wheel through the WV and PA mountains

What injectors would be recommended ?

sorry wrong injection pump The one on this truck is the P 7100 Injection pump

How come we dont have a sticky on injectors?? I know Weston has the injector breakdown sticky, but I mean a sticky more along the lines of recommedations (injector size and company/builders) for various applications. I also know that is very difficult since each truck is a different animal. I dunno what im getting at here..

I know very knowledgable guys have spelled out which injector companies are good and which arent on here as well as CF.com many times. Like, which companies sell over priced reboxed junk with no set-up...

As well as injector sizes (so people dont throw around non-sense marekting only HP ratings as injectors "sizes"/"stages"), what goes with what (injector to turbo wise), streetability/manners, etc.

Marine 370's have a 155* spray angle. Our 12-valve app is a 145* spray angle. Thats a 10* difference.

370's arent as bad as people make them out to be "IF" they are set-up by someone who knows what they are doing. I still wouldnt waste my money on them.

For injectors I would go with Westons or SDX's injectors for top of the line stuff. Scheid also obviously, but I dont think they're in the mass produced small sized injector game much. Right?

Huh...its as if there is this massive injector thread on CF.com where Weston is taking people to school:woohoo:

sure they work..........

my point is there are better options for injectors at this hp level

I should mention Lee's or CPP's injectors also.

At the OP- Are you asking for size recommendations or builder/company recs?

What's your experience with the different injectors that you're recommending, let's see some data.

Just what I hear, I make no excuses about that and wasnt "calling you out" at all.

I listen to what people like Weston, Lee, Jamie, Craig, etc say and review the data they share. I take into account what I hear from people as to how they like their (various brands of) aftermarket injectors and how they perform in there specific set-up. Also how the builder they got the injectors froms customer service is.

I listen to both sides, some people like DDP- many dont, and take everything with a grain of salt.

Im not the only person who think there are better options for injectors than DDP...

DDP's work, no question, but are there better options...IMHO absolutely.

Im not trying to spark a big debate, just my worthless opinion (there run wild with that :) ).

Im just a parrot Brett.

I used a set of 370's temporarily and then bought SDX 5x14's...... Night and day difference. they make better power, run cooler, and don't make a fraction of the smoke. No haze @ idle either. They will smoke if you'r trying but that's about the only time. with the 370's it was a continuous effort to keep the smoke down.

i think everyone bashes ddp reboxed stuff.......ive seen their big injectors throw down good on the dyno
