-WH1C w/18.5cm exhaust housing
-no plate
-AFC modded(barrel and foot ground, smoke screw backed out, no rack plug, starwheel adjusted)
-20.75* timing
-Armstrong Performance header

381.5hp @ 2025rpm
999.5tq @ 2004rpm

ran on Westech's dyno.

those are STP numbers.

i think uncorrected was 403.4hp and 1056.9tq.

regardless, i was very impressed for my setup with a stock clutch.

Nice numbers for so few mods, congrats!!!

BTW Westech usually reads a little high compared to other dynos.
 
oh yeah, CDS 5k, 4" exhaust, pulled the filter off, taurus fan, and turned barrels.

i dont have a dyno sheet to show yet because the printer at relentless broke, but my little cousin did 380/800 in his 98 12v with following mods

100 plate
bhaf
straight pipe.




thats pretty damn impressive too, imho!
 

That curve is with CDS 5k's, max'ed barrell's, no plate, 21*, etc...?
On the graph I can only see out to about 3k, but.... Id spec a convertor somewhere around 4500 to 4750:1tooth: if you put it on the track.:hehe:

school bus - did your cousin's truck have the barrel's turned also? what tranny does it have? we all know both a stock clutch, and especially a stock auto would be hatin life at 380hp. i have never seen a 12v truck with so few mods. make over 300hp let alone 380. my bro's truck, 97' 180pump auto with a built HTS tranny, stock injectors/181 dv's, stock turbo with a non gated 14 housing, afc modified all the way, and no plate only did about 280hp, and high 600's for torque? soo what are you guy's doin that im missing? is there more to the story that your not telling?

with a 10 plate, K&N cone and a 4" exhaust with an OFE I ran 334 at BD's and 338 And DDP just hours later.. Still not even close to upper 300's, and there is no way my stock clutch would have held it.. It didn't even like a modest plate plate and nothing else in 3rd, 4th and 5th. That's a 98 with 215 pump.
 
i did 380/896 with no plate, 4 inch strait pipe, electric fans, home made cold air intake, and my clutch held ok i sliped a little at the top of each gear.
 
you dont have to believe me but there were 5 other compdd members there. stock 5 spd. 98 12v. straight pipe, bhaf, he calls it a 100 plate but who knows what it is.

I don't think anyone believes you are lying.. just thinking the dyno might have been a bit generous....

This isn't exactly a 6.4 ford that we're questioning the new found power on. The 12 valve cummins and cheap tricks to get power has been around for just a little while. And everything has been tried and tested.
