466(outlaw class)

got a few friends that have put 466 engines in trucks.they have all the usual safety equiptment already in place.i am noticing you guys have a class for this sort of thing and wondering the specific tech type of things they wpold need to run with you guys.we are also talking something only turning 4000 rpms also.
 
what are you looking for?cool pics of it running or tech stuff?
 
we are in n.y.i am planning on running a few of your events in the 3.0 class and want these guys to be able to participate.where will they be able to run?

its not my truck i am inquiring about.if it was a blue ford running a 466 deere then you probably have the right guy
 
Yeah I told him about the NADM outlaw class and gave him my #.
Too bad we got rained out that day I wanted see that thing run :evil:
 
i got a buddy building a SS 2wd Open Diesel with DOT tires

Id like to see this also. Really like to see some pics of the truck with the 466 deere motor in it.
 
well here are a few pic of it in its early stages, dont realy have too many action shots, it runs good, but it could run better...

Thats what I've been wanting to do forever!! Awesome to see the pics!!! I'm gonna have to show my buddy this for sure, we've been discussing this now for a couple of years
 
yeah, it was a really fun build, i was alittle tricky to get the trans to bolt up, but with a little work, and some engineering it wasnt too bad. I want to see more of these big displacment trucks put together, i really belive someday there will be a class for them, but for now, the local fairs havn't caught on.....:rockwoot:
