dotted line
75hp DDPs, S475/HX35 , 400 wastegate, edge jwa CS
Solid
150 Mach4s + stg2 big stick cams

Can't make more than ~1000deg egt/50psi... 15psi interstage pressure /w cam and x2 sticks. Wastegate locked shut makes the 15psi, Wastegate opening makes 17psi .
Wastegate opening makes more hp.
2nd pic is on the hot unlock (I really wanted to break 500WHP), WG open solid, WG closed dashed.

That's why I question it. If I had leaks I think I'd see some exessive egts ?
1050 max on level 6 (hot) which is no de-fuel and more timing?

The huge dips seem suspect. You would think gate but we applied 100% boost the close port. You can see the lower port when running a pull , barely moves at all.
Not to mention primary drops to 15psi. Power drops too.

Everybody kept knocking my stock horn so I cleaned out my scrap bin and built a horn and some how it got rid of my camel humps :rockwoot:
Peak power gain? Sadly not really. But the curve it way fatter

Fuel pressure to vp under load?

And are you on a loaded dyno or inertia.. Do you make more boost on the street?

Mustang MD 1100 30" drum w/ eddy current load cell.
I'm giving a 10,400 lb vehicle weight and 26hp@50mph (brick).
Haven't got the road, needs tags.
I'm seeing 14 - 15 psi under full load.

It just seems to want bigger sticks :(
Ran a lot of passes with different gate settings.
The higher I raised the gate pressure the less primary pressure and less hp I got.
Now I did run 0 wg pressure just the 25 psi spring... 26 psi primary pressure but hp sucked lol. Obviously there is a right speed for the HX35. 17 primary / 53 total seems the sweet spot.

Road test, goes like hell but I magically lost od :(
1-2-3 no problem but will not shift in to od .
More diagnosis tomorrow. OD switch doesn't seem to work now either. Trans temp was awesome with the new Suncoast 1800 stall. Boost still 50psi .

Well complaining about my theoretical HP not coming true is the least of my concerns...
Lost OD and lockup.
-Line pressure 200+ with the cable pulled.
-OD solenoid reads 13.8v on the control side, grounding it does absolutely nothing.
Reading the OD port I get 45psi @ 15-20mph then no more, not even a flutter when triggering OD.
-Lockup sometimes engages a little (feeling something) but doesn't provide engine braking.

JC, it was JUST working perfectly (dyno) before taking a drive... lost a boot, fixed it then took it out again boom no OD.

Starting to wonder how fast diesel burns...

Turned 3 frictions to steels...then lost the od piston seal.
I remember the truck coming back to me w/ the tv cable off so low line in OD = good bye OD.

Cable off is low line in any gear. Better keep pulling the trans apart to inspect. Better to be safe than sorry.

When we opened it up after the TV incident the pan didn't show much if any sign?
Prior to our dyno session we took the pump off & front drum (for the the converter test) and inspected everything- nothing, still very clean from the rebuild.

Its out so I'll have them put it on the bench and dig a little deeper in the main unit.
OD direct wasn't even touched, looked brand new.

Thinking at it like that maybe the seal was a slow progressive fail? Squeezed a 1" long chunk out the front.
