I was going to say the same thing. I'm sure you double checked all your connections n made sure you was getting a good ground. I had problems with the jumper wire. I put it in the wrong spot. As far as the resistor goes. I've heard sme doing it but mine works fine without it

Well guys I said I would keep you updated and better late than never. I got the lock up switch working and the reason I found why it wasnt working makes me feel like and idiot but I guess its a lesson learned. I just wasnt getting a good connection on the orange and black wire.
