I just swapped my 47re for a 47rh to only realize the tailshaft seal on the RH is recessed way further compared to the RE. So now my transfer case input doesn't even make it to the seal. Any input on my best option now? I can't win today

I'm going to get a speedi sleeve and try and use it as a shaft extension. They are just really thin, so I'm not sure it will work. I may have to move up to a thicker wear sleeve and change my seal to something else to compensate. I only need another .25" at most so hopefully the speedi sleeve will hold its shape. Opinions on this route?!

A lot of the Jeep guys who have issues like what you are describing just use silicone on the trans to t-case flange and ignore the seal. It works, and that is how my truck was when I bought it.

I almost did that! It would have been way cheaper too. I ended up going the speedi seal route and it works great so far. But if it leaks I'll silicone it up, thanks bud!
