OK,

WHat improvements can I do without pulling the transmission?

V/B kit?
Can the accumulator and Servos be upgraded?
Band strap/stud thing


I was thinking that since mine is apparently functioning correctly(?)- I would wait on the TC until the present one starts having shudder/lockup issues.

You could go ahead an do a good vale body an notice a good difference

You can do the valvebody, accumulator, intermediate servo, and upgraded strut. The lever cannot be removed, and the band anchor is nearly impossible to get out, although I bet a really really patient person could figure out a way to change it. Without an upgraded lever, the anchor is probably not the weak point.
