47rh tranny

As I understand it the manual VB is just the regular VB that has been converted (you get a whole new VB). And the Kit is just the parts and instructions to convert your VB yourself. I did the conversion on a 47re and it was pretty simple to do.
 
ok, lemme rephrase that question. i guess what im wanting to know here is... why does a actual manual vb shift sooo much faster than a vb that is converted?
 
shift speed has nothing to do with it manual or aotomatic.

This is correct, higher line pressure will make it shift faster. I've installed the kit and the biggest difference is you don't get lockup in manual 2nd.

That's easy enough to solve in about five minutes time with some JB weld in a certain passage :Cheer:
 
WHAT PASSAGE. I would really really really really appreciate some info on this! It's been talked about but the transmission shop Gestapo cuts em down before they let the info out!
