Thinking of purchasing a 1990 blazer and throwing a 4BT with a 5speed in it. Not worried about fuel mileage just looking for torque and hp... Also could I swap heads of an early model 6bt 12v with the 4bt heads throw bigger injectors, turbo, cam, P pump, should i have it fire ringed and studded... Know a little about the 5.9s not to much about the 4BT though...

Heads aren't interchangeable.

4bt = 4 cylinders
6bt = 6 cylinders

Yes^... are the two head springs and valve stems the same since a 4bt is the 5.9 minus two cylinders

Correct, the 4bt is exactly the same as a 6bt, with 2 less cylinders.

How bout the detroit 4-53 or the 3114 or 3024
