5.41 ET in 1/8th Albany, GA.

figured I'd post some race news and say I had a great time at the race. Met a lot of new people and it was great to see the regs again !

I'd also like to say the guys and gals with NADM did a outstanding job with everything. It was a smooth day at the track !

Darren was unreal and it was real unfortunate he broke the rearend on the last run. With a truck like that though it's probably pretty hard to keep anything together.

Not sure who it was, I'm sure you guys know him well though... I believe the trucks name was Silver line ?? anyway, in a race against " the Jeff Garmon " he blew a freeze plug. It was a hell of a race though and I'm not sure if daddy Garmon was going to bet him if that didn't happen.

Timmay did another fine job on the mic. Tim, my wife said you had everyone chuckling with your antics :hehe:
Tim had a great name for this ... something like " the cosmic universal ultimate break testing event " It was a great show I think all enjoyed.....
Garmon and I'm sorry I don't know the other driver ran the 1/8 wide open and hit the breaks to crawl across the finish line. Something no one expected. It showed it's all about fun, showmanship and sportsmanship. Good job doods.

Garmon and the Green Machine put on a good race too. Both in the low 6's and very close at the end.

For a small venue like it was, I'd say it was a good time !

Triton...you forgot to tell about the big 3500 MegaCab that left blisters in on the track in the far lane. Please post stats on the fastest run. That truck is amazing with the CR, and over 8000#. Timmay said it rolled over 1100hp....awesome!

I did want to step on this thread. I'm no where close to Darrens league. But, thanks man. I wish I was pushing 1100hp! That was the older red dually. One pass down the track though and he was sweating bullets about it over heating. I'm at 700 and 8900lbs.

I was kinda pissed I couldn't break into the 7's, I was right there but it just won't give. Maybe next time as I rub my hand laughing in a devious manner LOL fingers crossed

best run was :

1.76 - 60ft
5.19 - 330ft
8.00@88mph - 1/8th

That was the funniest race of the weekend no doubt the drivers were Jeff Garmon and Phillip Taylor. both guys had there wifes in the truck when they made the pass, because they had a passenger they couldn't make a full blow pass thats why the launch hard when half way and threw on the binders.:hehe:

That was Brian Carter's (cnsmoke) truck. It is crazy...and it was on a hurt motor this weekend.

thanks gary!! that means if they can get the 60ft down and get the tranny to run..... awesome!! TS event is gonna be unreal!

what was the splits , I can usualy work out a progression from the 60' to 330 and soforth, also what was the 60' that is the most critical part to this

I Seen The Time Slips And The First Pass Was A 5.67 1/8 Mile W/ A 1.21 60' Second Pass Was A 5.41 1/8 Mile W/ 1.17 60'

TRITON-throw a small shot of no2 on there, get to the 7's already! I think my father is trading in his dwarfed hemi megacab now, you hurt his ego!

I was impressed with Darren's ride. What I think needs to be added to this conversation is that Darren, unlike any other current Pro Stock Diesel is making passes WITHOUT nitrous. Nice Job Darren!!! :rockwoot:
