53 block

How do you tell if you have a 53 block? is it a production year thing or what? im just curious to see if my 97 has one in it. thanks

Try the SEARCH feature on this or any other Dodge site, or Google it, for that matter,no sense in repeating it.
 
seached thanks, i looked but no 53 anywhere on it. ive got other numbers on the block under the ppump but no 53 guess im good there.
 
mine cracked at 250k just one day started smelling antifreeze looked and sure enofugh still have not done anything about it
