Looks like it's finally going to happen. Bought a donor truck yesterday. It's going to take some time to do this. Maybe i'll have it going by next may (TS).

Conversion truck: 2002 Dodge 1500 2wd V8 auto

Donor truck: 2008 6.7 68rfe 4x4

engine is filthy but it run very smooth other than a jump it starts rite up (previous owner said it wouldn't shift, my brother went and looked at it and said he got to shift)

The Swapped truck: 2002 1500 2wd, 6.7 w/exhaust brake, 68rfe(for now)

Initial plans is to get everything swapped over completely stock (except for the deletes) and get a couple hundred miles on it to get all the bugs out of it.
EFI may make it's way on the truck sooner than later.

Then start adding the "go fast" parts.
Bigger single, dual cp3's, injectors, etc.

Final goals for the build are... well there are none.

Glad to see this project start, I was a big fan of the idea after seeing your original post about it. 850-900hp 2wd street truck is going to be awesome when you're done with it! Good luck and keep us posted. :Cheer:
