6.7 core parts, blocks, cranks, heads, etc.

I gotta do a little more research but the 6.7 rods should be a little shorter and I'll be using 3.9 pistons To keep my protrusion with a 4.5 crank. How much for 4 good rods?

Mark if you get a good 6.7 crank let me know.

Once I'm done with my West/Southwestern tour of the U.S., I'll have a bunch more 6.7 stuff to offload, stuff that I had been "saving" for my own ideas, but it's time to off it.

I'll refer you to this thread, which reinforces my point on the rod length difference being ZERO:

I had an 8 valve 4.5 (VP30 pump, QSB-110c) a while back and the deck height is ~ 1/2" taller on the 4.5, to help allow the longer stroke of the 4.5 crank.
Cummins making a totally different block, tells me that there could quite possibly be fitment issues in trying to use the 4.5 crank in a 3.9 deck height block.

Mark.

Mark thank you for the info after referring to that thread it makes a little more sense now. I'll have to look for a 4.5 block for a future build and continue with my plans for this 3.9
