No turning back now. Going to stiffen up the rear frame and make a pull hitch for it.
I think the front 44 thing is going to catch on.
There was no shirt in my d&j box.
How are you going to do R&P steering with 4wd?

Not gonna lie, I'd have a hard time too. Not many shops where I am do that caliber of work.
Phil Taylor's maroon shop truck has/had a stock dana 44 and they are pushing around 1200 or 1300 I believe, but with street tires. I think they broke an axle shaft, but those should be easy to get upgrades for.
