6bt mech tach

any of you guys running 12v's out of medium duty trucks run across a mechanical tach drive on a 6bt..have found several threads on different forums about them and have several part numbers for them..kind of curious if anyone has actually seen one..

Yes sir. I have one in my 72 Longhorn. My tach is a factory diesel tach from a C60 from 67-72. I also have a tach from an IH medium duty truck I was keeping for a back up. I put it in a 67-72 chevy cluster, but it can be undone.

your Longhorn project was one of the things to come up on google when i looked up if cummins built them or not...changed my plans on my truck decided to go full mechanical gauges in it.. there is a truck salvage a couple of towns over guess I need to get over there and look around..thanks for the reply...
