7 hole injector vs. 11 hole injector for 24v

what you think KMAN about just sending DDP my 200's and have them hone them out to comp 250s and customize the LPM's around 76? $50 a nozzles is what they told me.
 
If I ever get out of this streak of bad luck (about 6weeks on the bad side lost over $3500!) and get money ahead it getting a 13mm p-pump and some 6x.018's or bigger! Looking like about a 6x20 though.

The injectors that I have (I was told they are the DDP Comp's) are 8 hole. The DDP 150's I had are 7, though.
 
One question; why?

How many cc's can you flow through a 6x18? The guy thats going to build the pump said it would max out at 1000cc and I just want to make sure I don't out grow this set! I've been going to call you and pick your brain on what you think I've been to busy! Pm me your number if you don't mind I go a few questions!
 
Well, I'm the guy with the 11 holes for sale...

I'll be the first to admit I'm not an Industrial Injection fan or promoter. Between customer service and prices I'll never buy from them again (turbo's, injectors, anything).

As you can tell by searching on this forum, there aren't many people that speak highly of I.I. They do piece together some nice turbo's, however you definately pay for it with a steep price and if you ever need any warranty help or a rebuild done, you better go elsewhere...

With that said, I can honestly say I picked up a very decent amount of hp going from Mach 6's to these injectors. They ran great in my truck and pulled very well. You get to a point with a VP truck that you just can't get anymore fuel out of the pump... (so I went the ppump route)

If you were looking at buying new I'd recommend not to as they are overpriced, however my used ones are like new and half the price.

It's your decision...

C.Smith, you are the first I've read about to blow the tip of an 11 hole. The last member on here to talk about breaking an injector was on a 7 hole.

Oh, and I think a 6 hole on a 24V means it requires a new custom tip, not a stock tip EDM'd out. Weston may have a different reason though...
 
6x.018 or 6x.020 are huge on a 13mm ppump. I know some good running 2.8 trucks and they don't run anything that big.
 
I got luck and it only cracked! It made a little triangle but but managed to hold on and not go bouncing around in the cylinder!

I've got a horrible memory ,but I thought when I asked about the the setup I was going to run. I was told that several guys where running 6x18s and that for a monster vp44 you had to run his inj. which someone said they where 6x24 ( sounds a little big but I'm sure thats what was said)
 
you don't "have" to run his injectors but he has several sets that he recommends. That's what he told me when we talked a few weeks back.
