75 hp now truck is loaping

I have ran 11 different sets of injectors in the same truck over the last year and a half, VCO, micro-blind, and cylindrical-blind nozzles in 6-7-8-hole and cone angles varying from 150-155°. I saw no consistent pattern in how they responded as far as haze/idle conditions. The only variable that seemed to increase the likelihood of stalling/loping at low engine speed was opening pressure, and this was more apparent with certain nozzles.

he would have diesel in the oil or fuel at the line tube connection. if its loose enough to suck air, its loose enough to push fuel out. can almost garantee its injector related.

i call bs on the no more than 15psi on a vp. on my old 99 duallie that made 713hp i ran 25psi constant for almost 2.5 years with NO pump problems. sounds like injectors to me. whos tips did you buy?

I agree with both of these statements. Except for the 713 hp part. I'm way less than that.

I have mach 6 and mach 7 injectors. They both lope in gear, but not in park or neutral. New connector tubes didnt change chit.

So higher opening pressures would be more prone to lope/stall or vise versa?

There are no leaks of fuel or smell of diesel. so I think the lines are good. But its like a erratic loap. not like normal. kind of feels like a miss fireing. Truck doesn't smoke at idle nd only smokes if I get into it. Which I get really hot now with out trying.

Fuel pressure helped mine out. I put in a set of Smokems 40 HP injectors. And it had a slight miss at idle. I just put an A1000 on it and it went away. It runs like it should now. Much smoother. No miss at idle.

I can personally vouch for the quality of those nozzles, where the pop pressure was set, and how closely they were balanced. Bring them by the shop and I'll be glad to check them out for you.
