7k & an lly... how far am i going to get.

just as the title states... im contemplating parting out my car- offing my two others- and getting an lly powered something or other- how far is 7k$ going to get me in one of these....

quickly/reliably.


trans of course... but what else to buy with that budget- and how much should i be prepared to dump on a trans...

Welcome man. Probably around 4k for the trans. either EFILive or a PPE will be right at $900. Plan on steering upgrades to do a reliable 4wd launch if you take the notion.
Course you'll need a lift pump/pumps,exhaust,and intake.
That'll take care of a lot of it if not all.

i wish more people used hptuners cuz i already have that- and a decent understanding of how to use it- yet the huge downside- is no one uses it.

but yeah that sounds good- i figured about that much

Low 13's to high 12's maybe? Mine has been 13.51 on a stock tranny but a good converter/trans will kick it up a good bit; setup really counts too.
