:Cheer:Just heard the news Ramario Salazar just made 684/1458 on #2 and 810/1427 with 60/40 H2O on the Dyno at Alvarado, Tx. on a single turbo truck. A 64/14 turbo that is. Who says you can't make good power on a single with out spray. Incredable... Made several runs in the 790's as they adjusted the water and toped it off with a 810 run. Not bad for a truck built in a little podunk shop in McDade, Tx.:rockwoot::rockwoot:

Very impressive!

these common rails are just incredible trucks... Id say the 12 valve has been dethroned.. But i know mines not gonna give up without a decent fight and will eventually be joined by a CR in the same stable..

Congrats Ramiro!

yes it is sad how little you have to do to a common rail to make power, and how much you have to do to a 12v to even try and make the power that the commonrails are making.

I think you are only half right.........I think for the track or pulls, a 12V will win just because you can just keep adding more and more fuel and air..........But for someone you doesnt have a dedicated puller the CR is way better just for the electronic side of things.........Either or thats impressive
But how come the HP went up a 100 points but the torque barely moves ?

If it made it later in the band that would explain it.

Dang good numbers though.

Thanks, we bring the water in pretty early and it does hurt the tq. but realy helps the HP. Just changing the start psi made a 20hp difference.

The biggest kicker about this truck is that the truck pulls to 4k on the street, has a cam that pulls past 4k, and a ported head, and yet he shut down at 3100rpm. I think there's a lot more left in this truck.

yup....can't blaim him though...i like driving home in one piece.

what was changed to run 7xx and 18xx tq?!

When the water/meth came in. The last run they brought the water in a little to soon.

Smarty 4.4, Mp-8, SPS64, Hamilton Diesel Cam, springs and pushrods, I.I. twin cp3, and Dragon Flow injectors, Snow W/M/ Stage 2 SouthBend DD3200, BD I.C. ATS Intake horn. Hamilton Diesel did all the head and cam work and I assembled the rest with streetability in mind. This truck barely makes 1600 on #2 and Spools at 1600rpm's and gets 18.5mpg driven a minimum of 90 miles a day. It will put your eyeballs in the back of your head.....

Liberty, as in between Houston and Beaumont?

That's my hometown, didn't know that they had a shop like that there...

There is a Liberty something west of Dallas (I think) people always call the local one Liberty...

Nice numbers though.
