95 3500hd gmc with a 5.9 swap

Update, 30k miles after the swap, still averaging 18-19mpg, unloaded 10-14 loaded depends on where I'm going and how fast

The nv4500 is starting to make a little noise under heavy load, so I may have to do a fuller swap sooner than expected,

Did weigh it 9400lbs empty...
 
were would one get alum wheels for your bolt pater, i have the same axles and would like to know :) i do have steel ones right now
 
The steel wheels for this chassis suck, I have 6 new accuride wheels none of them are perfectly straight.

Alcoa stopped making wheels about 10years ago, but there are a lot of p30 gm motorhome chassis with them, going rate is about 100$ each, and they will need a polish..

Watch craigs list they show up..

19.5's ride hard enough empty, 22.5's would be overkill save them for the poser's, I'm good for 22k lbs on the tires , axle ratings I'm good for 18k so no need,
 
actually what i was wanting to do was get a set of wheels and run it as a SRW and still retain load ratings
