What parts are needed to convert my srw to drw truck? Will a DRW rear axle bolt in place of the srw axle? How about the front dana 60 can i just buy drw hubs? I know the drw bed is a forsure. Thanks for replying.

You will need the front wheel spacers, DRW rear axle will be a direct bolt on (make sure gearing is the same as your front axle).

I am thought about doing this down the road, when I do not live down this one way street.

Axle will be a direct bolt in if you had a dana 80 originally, if you had a dana 70 you will need the brackets that the u-bolts go through under the axle and the drive shaft will need shortened about 7/8".

Basically im going to buy a wrecked drw donor truck from 94-02 does it have to be 4wd or can it be 2 wheel and buy spacers for the front axle.

so if buy a drw donor truck the rear is take care of how about the front axle on my srw what needs to be done to it? The donor truck that i am looking at right now is 2wd.

I'd leave the SRW wheel on the front. Duallys look so much better with regular offset wheels up front.

I personally prefer the look of a regular front wheel on dual wheel trucks, but if you would like to use a regular dually wheel on the front you will need to get a spacer. I believe the earlier(not sure of years) 2wd trucks had the spacer built in to the hub assembly.
**Tree'd on the single wheels up front.

00-02 2wd's had the bolt on spacer. 99 and older had it cast with the rotor and had serviceable bearings.

the front axles are the same on dually and single. the spacer is stock on dually's they just bolt on to the front.
