98.5 sport auto to nv5600

Wondering If anyone's done this, I did a auto to g56 in my 2003 but my cousin wants to do a nv5600 in his 98. Wondering if electronically different doing his over mine. Any info will help but were trying to do it somewhat reasonably cheap

I just did an auto to nv4500 swap in my 98.5. I didn't have to touch anything electronic except the reverse lights and the neutral safety switch for the clutch. Everything else I just tied back. No codes and no defueling. The truck has no idea the transmission is missing lol.
