Dave is, to my knowledge the first one to put a PMR (Powdered Medal Rod) truck in the 13's/ :ylsuper:

Just goes to show how much better tuning has gotten and that there are options for us PMR guys who want to go fast without a full build. :woohoo:

When I destroyed my first PMR motor I was barely on the throttle doing about 20-30mph in a downpour. Too much stress the previous 8 months to the rods finally took it's toll.

Are the PMR the biggest obstacle with these motors? Don't know too much about the newer PSDs.

There are a few sources for good rods, just spendy. Need to have 10-15 grand if you're gonna open one up. Otherwise your limited to around 400hp on PMR engines, and 500hp on factory forged rods.
This is the 7.3 we're talking about, just to clarify.
