Whats a matter with your Dodge, they have the same axles.

Are these available for the D70/80? Where did you find them? Looks like a pretty strong piece. One less excuse for the dmax.

I thought that the newer dodges had the same axles since they switched to American Axles in 03:aiwebs_029: So wouldn't these pieces also fit?

Yes they will fit all AAM 11 1/2 in the Dodges also.
I also talked to a guy in Michigan here and they do make that full spool for the Dana 70/80 4:10 and numerically higher.

Yeah, that is what a lot of us are still looking for. Maybe one day someone will be making them.

anyone had much luck with the mini spools that mount inside a stock limited slip carrier for the dana 80

I think the EEP sells a mini spool. I would never have another spool on the street again though. Your just asking for parts to break, hard to turn, etc, etc. I had one in mine, and I haven't put more than 5000 miles total on my truck in 3 years, and if your truck is needed for street use I wouldn't ever do it.

If you go up a couple of post, you'll see they do make them for the D70/80

More info please and where I can get them or at least a phone #

My dually's 11.5 is just begging for a spool and shafts!!! I was actually thinking of swaping in an 80 so I could worry a little less about breaking a shaft.

We have welded 37 spline carriers and axles here for the Dana 80:
Dodge drivetrain upgrades

Nice upgrade, but why would you use a welded carrier rather than a spool?

I found these on the other site and re-loaded what the wrench had, hope this helps.

Because I don't know of any 37 spline spools for the Dana 80.

I am pretty positive their is no 37 spline spool for an 80. I bought the 35 spline SCS mini-spool (the one T.J. talked of) for my 80 reason why is I am going to run the stock shafts for now due to lack of $ then upgrade to SCS shafts and flanges. I know their is a 35 spline full spool priced at $500. If I would have gone 37 I would have just talked to garrett and got the welded carrier and shafts but like I said I ran low on money. P.S. I hate this spool on road with a passion my big tires on my ford you can't tell you got a spool, but with these 33's it is a wheel chirpin, poppin, scuffing machine. On road I would NOT run one again! Mines just a puller now so I lucked out.

You are correct :D

Haisley Machine has 37 spline spool and axles - I just got mine installed on our puller. They are nice. CTM Racing makes the axles and SCS makes the spool.
