Acceptable alternatives to hanging weight.

I don't have a weight rack either, so I put weights behind & under my seats in my single cab. The seats themselves secure the weight and keep it from moving around. I use 25lb. 35lb. & 45lb. olympic free weight plates. All together I can scale in around 8,000lbs. +/- 25lbs. I have found that this helps keep my front end from bouncing more.
 
Throw it in the cab and strap it down. Trust me it makes one hell of a difference. A Ton better than being that much light
 
This has been legal at every pull I've been to that wouldn't let you hang it.:D
At least if you have a crew cab like me anyways. :Cheer:

before i hung weights, i used a 55 gal drum, welded tabs on both ends to tie it down in the bed of my truck and filled it full of water!!!! it worked good and you don't have to lug a bunch of weight around!!!!! and the barrel hides nicely
