Hey guys, I'm trying to get an adapter plate made up for my conversion and need to come to a conclusion on the thickness for the plate. If anyone has any dimensions they can share that would be great. I'm putting a zf5 from an IDI onto a 12valve at the moment.

Way back when, I had a 1stgen that a gentleman had put a PS ZF5 behind the Cummins and IIRC, he used a 2nd gen plate and starter.
I'd be lying if I said that was for sure, but all I know is it wasn't quite kosher done, but it did do the trick.
I suggest getting ahold of a TIG welder and doing some filling in on the block plate in certain areas, though.
It looked scary.
