added a fuel pressure gauge, now I am about to delete the mother f'er

Pressure would not be affected at all. Flow would be but since there is no flow to the gauge once the line is fullm it is irrelevant

I meant loosing presure to the gauge and getting false readings.

just pick up a needle valve today! plus got to go get a new gauge to. more money more money!

Needle valve on mine for a long time. Correct readings, just a tad slow to reach peak pressure. No problem with fuel in cab either.

Needle valve at pump , just barely crack it open. 1/8" needle valve is 7-10 bucks.

Been running fuel in my cab for prob close to 8 yrs. Never a leak. Just pusk lock hose.

this was my old setup

and new one on this truck as well.. works great

That is a bad set up waiting to cause massive problems. I put a mech. fuel gauge inside a passenger compartment 1 time. The gauge developed a very slight leak and until the day I sold that car it reeked of fuel. Put a isolator under the hood then use mineral oil between the isolator and the gauge. Much safer for you and solves the vibration issue.

Needle valve seems to have worked and reads ever so slightly low.
