Adjustable pump gear

I seen last week on kennys pulling parts website the adjustable pump gear is now 375.00

adjustable cam gear is 650.00
 
I am curious why the cam gear is more expensive than the pump gear. The pump gear has a taper to the shaft, the cam gear doesn't
 
See Dan told ya haha! You know more about that stuff than I do. I wont argue with ya. Maybe if we both buy one we can get a little taken off? You in the market for one?

I was thinking I had seen some from EEP that were just a cast gear modified like the pump.

Any reason the cast one can't be modified to an adjustable one.

Wasn't EEP selling one made from cast?
 
corey at PDW said maybe after the turbo sale if we can get enough people he might be able to have another sale on the gears
 
I got a good price from Kenny as well as one from Woodruff today on them. Probably get mine on order next week. Geez the things I could do with my money if I didnt love diesels so much.
 
What was the cure for the balancer hitting the billet front cover? I know about shimming the fan pulley.
