Aeromotive Eliminator Pump

That info helps a bunch, actually. I was completely wrong as to their longevity and street use. :doh: I'll be in the corner wearing my dunce hat if you need me.
 
I would say yes on the dunce hat but my wife would yell at me for taking it off.
ps. aeromotive told me to run a vaccum gauge between the pre filter and the pump and to not allow more than 7 " of vaccum. seems hard pulling of fuel is what kills these pumps do to lack of cooling.
 
As far as fuel consumption, if you were pushing 500cc's per 1000 strokes, you would be chugging 1.6 gallons per minute at 4k rpms. If you had a real good pump pushing 700cc's at 5k rpms that comes out to 2.8gpm. And add enough fuel to cool/lube the pump and you are at 4 gpm.
