AFC pressure?

There was only 5 or 6 pounds difference. I did some research and the 215 pump has the heaviest spring in the AFC compared to other pumps.

Thats true. I put the afc spring kit in my 215 pump and the adjustability is much nicer than the stock spring offered.
 
I bought the kit and installed the medium spring. The max pressure I can get is 30#. This should be better, need more foot control. I need to find some ricer valve springs.

if you only make 30 psi you would prolly be better off with the soft spring?

and what about welding on the bottom side of the foot?

i think my lever is intermittently gettin stuck under the foot

thinkin about putting some more material on the bottom side so this cant happen

and maybe putting some back on the rear side as well

is anyone else having this problem?
 
I think it will make a little more than 30. I was hoping for 35 on the AFC but I'm tired of wasting money.

Adjust the lever up a little.

have you raised th foot all the way up with the adjustment screw?

one time when i had it apart i spun the slotted adj dealy all the way around (sliding the foot back and forth at the same time) just to see how much vertical adj it had. didnt look to be much and that was using all 360°. the adj slot is small compared to that, like 30°. think i ended up just matching the paint marks up (putting it back to where it was before i ground anything).

so are you saying the lever is getting up above the foot and the foot needs to come up? thats not what i pictured happening at all. i just got back from driving the truck and something has surely changed

i will take it apart again tomorrow and try to figure out what is going on
