Air Conditioner High Pressure Max ????

low side 20-40 psi high side 150-250 psi outside temp humidity and air flow are factors in psi numbers, the hotter and more humidity the higher the psi. dodges has a bad habit of evap cores leak behind the dash. as for adding oil i usually add 1oz of dye oil when i do a recharge and then depeing on the item replaced like they tell you to drain the oil out of the comp and either add same or 3oz which every is more. also if you use certain a/c machine like robinair when you do a evac it has a oil drain and you can see how mch oil comes out of the system. lastly you do not want to over charge the system or damage to the compressor can result

I would never just "shoot some chit in there" and call it good. I am watching the gauge and just wondering how high I can go. It cools good, but not great, but I don't want to push it. I will never say that this is better than a full evac and digitally added proper volume (or weight), but, at times I got chit to do and the kids need to ride with me and I ain't got time to drive an hour to do it nor do I want to spend $95 per charge every month or so locally.

And...being an engineer, I know there are temps, humidities, pressures, yada yada, yada.....so maybe the question was a bit arbitrary or stupid.....but the folks I've talked to say "ya, 200 is good". Just wanted more opinions.
